Easy Crinkle Brownie Cookies Recipe

Crinkle brownies are delicious during the holidays. Make these super-fudge cookies using a hand whisk. These are easy to whisk. These cookies appear festive when rolled in powdered sugar.   

– 150 g all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon espresso powder optional – 1 teaspoon baking powder – ½ teaspoon salt – 100 g granulated sugar – 100 g brown sugar – 60 ml vegetable oil – 50 g unsweetened cocoa powder – 2 large egg – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 50 g powdered sugar


Add flour, espresso powder, baking powder, and salt. Hand-whip oil, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a bowl. Add chocolate powder.

Whisk eggs and vanilla. Stir the flour mixture into the batter using a spatula. Cover the dough with cling film and freeze for 1 hour, 4 hours, or overnight.  

Step 2

Prepare a parchment-lined sheet pan and prepare to 175ºC / 350ºF conventional oven. Use a medium ice cream scoop (2.5 tbsp/1.33 oz) to scoop cold dough.  

Step 3

Coat dough balls in powdered sugar. Bake 6 cookies per tray 12-14 minutes. Will yield 11 cookies. Cool them on the sheet pan for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
