LEMON BROWNIES – 200 g granulated sugar – 1 tablespoon lemon zest – 110 g butter – 125 g white chocolate chip – 2 eggs room temperature – 1 tablespoon lemon juice – 2 teaspoon vanilla extract – 160 g all-purpose flour – ¼ teaspoon salt LEMON GLAZE – 125 g powdered sugar – 2-3 tablespoon lemon juice – Lemon zest for decoration optional

Start by preheating the oven to 160ºC/325ºF. Prepare a 20x20 cm/8x8 inch parchment-lined square pan. A tiny basin of melted butter. Melt chocolate chips. Set aside.

Step 1

Mix granulated sugar and lemon zest in a large bowl. Rub it till it looks like wet sand to release lemon flavor. Hand-whip sugar and melted butter/white chocolate till combined. Fear not the split appearance.

Step 2

Combine eggs. Mix them for 1-2 minutes after integration to make them fluffy. Mix in lemon juice and vanilla. Whisk dry ingredients into batter carefully. Smooth brownie batter in pan using spatula.

Step 3

Bake 30-32 minutes. Never browns, always brilliant. Let it cool completely on a rack after baking. Make the lemon glaze on a serving plate after cooling from the baking pan.

Step 4

Start with 2 tablespoons lemon juice and powdered sugar in a small bowl. Stir smooth. Add lemon juice for smoothness.

Step 5

Apply lemon glaze to brownie. Lemon zest garnish. Set at room temp. This sets faster when chilled. Serve after glaze hardens.
