Mascarpone Frosting Recipe

Mascarpone frosting is rich, creamy, and silky, great for cakes, cupcakes, brownies, and cookies.  This easy-to-make mascarpone whipped cream frosting uses only four ingredients.  

– 8 oz. mascarpone cheese – 1 cup powdered sugar – 2 teaspoons vanilla extract – 1 cup cold heavy cream


Before creating the frosting recipe, put a mixing bowl with the whisk attachment in the refrigerator or freezer for 15 to 20 minutes.

Mascarpone cheese should be whisked until smooth on low. Once smooth, thoroughly blend the powdered sugar and vanilla extract.

After adding all of the sugar, gradually blend in the heavy cream at a low speed. After adding all of the heavy cream, turn the mixer up to medium

Beat for two to three minutes, or until the frosting is frothy and light. Spoon the frosting onto cakes, cupcakes, cookies, or brownies, or store it in a storage jar.
