Strawberry Cookies Recipe

Strawberry cookies are a whimsical take on sugar sweets. Sweet, chewy strawberry-filled sugar cookies with creamy strawberry frosting and freeze-dried strawberries. Make these strawberry-cream cookies for spring and summer parties.

-1½ cups freeze dried strawberries -2¼ cups all purpose flour -¾ tsp baking soda -¼ teaspoon baking powder -¼ teaspoon salt -1¼ cups granulated sugar -1 cup unsalted butter -1 large egg -1½ tsp vanilla extract -¼ cup strawberry jam


Preheat the oven to 350 F (177 C) for 20–30 minutes before baking cookies. Line a large baking sheet with paper. Process freeze-dried strawberries in a processor. Make berry powder.
